It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Alexander “Alex” Diaz, beloved son of Veronica and Cesar Diaz, at the age of 23. Alex’s death came suddenly,
leaving an unimaginable and profound void in the lives of all who loved him. Alex was a cherished brother to Isabella “Bella” Diaz, who preceded him in death and a deeply
loved grandson to the late Delia Rodriguez. His sweet and faithful dog, Benny, misses him dearly. He is also mourned by his loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends,
all of whom can attest to his warmth and the light he brought into their lives. Alex was a young man full of life, with a heart overflowing with kindness. He was known for his
gentle spirit, respectful nature, and wonderful sense of humor. Though his time with us was far too brief, his dreams and passions burned brightly. He had a deep love for technology especially
computers and was thoughtful and passionate in his political interests. A family-oriented soul, Alex held those he loved close to his heart. He touched countless lives
with his compassion, strength, unwavering loyalty and his baked goodies. Alex’s loss is a great tragedy, and his absence will be felt forever. Yet his memory will live on in
the joy, laughter, and love he shared so freely. He will be immensely and dearly missed, but never forgotten.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday; November 18th at St. Jerome Church 2823 S. Princeton Ave. (Chicago) 11:00A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
