Barbara Nardi

BARBARA ROSE NARDI-Barbara Rose Nardi, age 78, passed away on July 20,  2021, in Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, Maryland. She was born on  November 27, 1942, in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of Frank Nardi and  Theresa Lynn Nardi. Barbara had been retired for several years and she had  previously worked in various customer service positions. She is survived by her  daughters Theresa Curran, and Anna Marie Davis, brother Jimmy Nardi, grandson  Nicholas Curran, and son-in-law Kevin Curran. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday; July 27th from 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 West 31st Street, Chicago. Inurnment Private.

Barbara was known for her love of her family and radiant smile. She was kind and  sweet to everyone she met. She was generous and loving and known for her  delicious Italian cooking. She lived with her daughter Theresa, and her son-in-law  Kevin and grandson Nicholas for the last 10 years. Before that she lived in Chicago  where most of her family and her daughter Anna Marie still resides. Her daughter Theresa has a dog named Yoda that was jokingly called her grand puppy.  She fed him plates of food just for him from the table which he happily ate. She  also spoiled him with treats. She loved watching General Hospital soap opera on  the weekdays and shows on the ID channel. She did not drive but her daughter  Theresa would go out with her to various stores and malls and she loved shopping for bargains. Barbara was the youngest of four children born and raised  on the south side of Chicago with her mother Theresa, sisters Jane and Anna Marie, and brother Jimmy. Her father Frank Nardi passed away shortly after  she was born. She was married twice in her life and only had Theresa and Anna  Marie from her last marriage. She worked hard all her life and was never seen  without a smile on her face or a hand stretched out in welcome. She will be greatly  missed by her.
