With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin Bobadilla, who departed this life on December 26,2025. Born on July 18,1956 in Mexico, Benjamin was a vibrant soul whose laughter and joy touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. A true jokester at heart, he had an extraordinary knack for making people laugh and was undeniably the life of every gathering.
Benjamin grew up in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, having emigrated to the United States from Mexico at the age of 14. His love for his family and his adopted country was boundless. He cherished the values instilled in him, and his deep sense of pride in the opportunity to build a life here shone brightly through his actions and his kindness.
For many years, Benjamin dedicated himself to Humberto’s Auto Mechanic, his brother’s auto mechanic shop, where he worked with passion and pride as if it were his own business. His warmth and camaraderie made him a beloved friend to all who knew him. Benjamin was never one to shy away from a good time; he embraced life wholeheartedly and gathered with friends and family in laughter and joy at every opportunity.
