Bozica (Sorich) Gregor

Bozica Gregor passed away peacefully on February 14,2023. She was born in Preko, a small village on the island of Ugljan in Croatia. She came to Chicago in 1960 to marry Vjeko, and remained a proud member of the StJerome Croatian Catholic Church community and enjoyed being a member of the choir. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Vjeko; loving mother of Lucy Gregor, Cathy (the late George) Gesior, Anne (Dave) Linja, and Theresa (Younan) Yonan; beloved daughter of the late Bozo and Stosa Soric; fond grandmother of Andy (Sarah) Gesior, Luke (Jen) Gesior, Felicia (Kevin) Gesior, Maria Gesior, Danielle Yonan, and Nina Yonan; dear sister of Janja Kosta, Sister Pia, Sister Nazarena, Danica Marcelic, and Nedo Soric; beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday; February 24th from 3:00P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st Street., Chicago. Funeral on Saturday, February 25th , chapel prayers will begin at 9:00 A.M. at Colettas, procession at 9:20 A.M. to St. Jerome Croatian Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M., followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
