Carlos G. Flores

Carlos G. Flores, 83, lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away April 24, 2021.  Beloved husband of Bertilia, nee Banda; loving father of Geneva Barchouchi and Manuel “Manny” (Anita) Flores; cherished Poppy of Jenny (Alex) Olivo, Mario Gutierrez Jr., Michael Ramirez and Isabella and Ivan Flores and great Poppy Joaquin Olivo; dearest brother Dolores Ramberg, Jeanette Contreras, Mary (the late John) Hernandez, George (Delia) Flores and the late Gilbert (the late Julia) Flores, Manuel “Nino” (Georgina) Flores, Theresa Moreno and Richard “Richie” Flores; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, April 28th, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 W. 31st St., Chicago.  Funeral Mass Thursday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m. Nativity of Our Lord .  Interment private.

DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE VISITATION WILL BE LIMITED TO FIFTY (50) PEOPLE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.  ALL VISITORS ENTERING THE FUNERAL HOME ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD LIKE TO PAY THEIR RESPECTS, WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE YOUR VISIT A BRIEF ONE IN ORDER TO ALLOW ALL WHO WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND A CHANCE TO DO SO. THE FAMILY APPRECIATES YOUR SINCERE COOPERATION DURING THESE VERY CHALLENGING AND DIFFICULT TIMES.  IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU STAY HOME AND REST.

THE CHURCH WILL REQUIRE GUESTS ATTENDING THE MASS TO SIGN IN.  THERE WILL BE A SIGN IN SHEET AT THE FUNERAL HOME TO HELP FACILITATE A TIMELY COMMENCEMENT OF THE MASS.
