Elda (Cuello) Torres

Elda Torres, a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Elda passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, June 2, 2025. Born August 22, 1927, in Monterrey, México, Elda embodied strength, grace and unconditional love throughout her long and beautiful life. She will be remembered always for her gentle kindness and warm smile. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Oscar E. Torres and her grandson, PFC Omar E. Torres. Elda, is survived by her loving family, Maryola (Frank) Ward, Oscar E. (Doris) Torres, Oszela M. (John) Regalado, Oona (Samuel) Miranda, Oralia (Lawrence) Henning, Orli Torres, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the blessing To know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday; June 6th  in the Narthex of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 9300 W. 167th St, (Orland Hills)  from 10:00 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 A.M.
