Beloved husband of Karen (nee Zielinski); loving son of the late Joseph M. Sr. and the late Eileen (nee Mellen) Beck; dear brother of Joseph M. (the late Fran Schouten) Beck; the late Mary Ann Beck (the late Sue Loechel) and the late Jeanette (Rich) Brandstedt; fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired employee of AT&T, Graduate of Marist High School, attended Saint Bernadette Parish. White Sox season ticket holder for 42 years. George was a very generous, loving and good-hearted person to his family and friends. Loved by his beloved family, friends and cats. George enjoyed attending concerts and huge Chicago White Sox Fan. George was a true fighter who battled cancer for 10 years. We will miss you! Please Omit Flowers. Visitation will be held at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 W. 31st St (Chicago) on Saturday; September 6th from 8:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M. followed by procession to Nativity of Our Lord Church 653 W. 37th St. (Chicago) for 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery.
