Gerald Monahan

Gerald S. Monahan, 60, lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away Nov. 7, 2020.  Cherished father of Jessica Monahan (Desiree Monahan) and Jerald Monahan (Tiffany Rangel, fiance') and James Athern; proud grandfather of Brieanne, Gianna and Jaxon, loving brother of Kathleen Monahan-McHugh (Michael McHugh), James and the late Michael (Catherine) Monahan; beloved son of the late Gregory and Sandra, nee Hall; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.  

Jerry was an excellent cook, gardener and all around Mr. Fixit.  

Visitation Thursday, Nov. 12th from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 W. 31st Street, Chicago.  Interment private.   

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the visitation will be limited to only (25) people at a time. All visitors entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visit a brief one in order to allow all who would like to attend a chance to do so. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
