Jake and Babe were originally from the Bridgeport neighborhood and were married at St. Mary Incornata Church.. Beloved husband of 75 years to Elvira “Babe” (nee DeNardo); loving father of Bill (Erika), the late Joey, Joann (Ed) Mazalin, and Frank (Christine) Diliberto; beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary Diliberto; dear brother of the late Charles Diliberto and the late Mary (Joseph) Knight; proud Papa of Joseph (Ellen), Marcelleno (Danielle), Gino, Dino, Nicholas, Anthony, and Michael; son-in-law to the late Jenny and Frank DeNardo; brother-in-law of the late Vicky (Glenn) Middleton, Ralphie (Ann), Mikey (Sarah), Charlie (Jean), and Sammy (Carol) DeNardo; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Local #73 for 70 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday; December 26th from 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Curley Funeral Home 6116 West 111th St. Chicago Ridge., Wednesday; December 27th Chapel Service at Curley Funeral Home 10:00 A.M. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
