James "Jimmy" F. Gurgone

James "Jimmy" Gurgone of Naples, Florida, formerly of Chicago and Oak Lawn, passed away peacefully at his home on November 5th.

Beloved husband and best friend of Carmen Gurgone; loving father of Sam (Rhonda), Joseph and James (Cynthia); proud grandfather of Jimmy and Michael; dear brother of the late Arlene (the late Peter) Boulahanis and the late Mickey (the late Madonna);cherished brother-in-law of Robin Schadt; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Forever friend to the late Noreen Gurgone.

Jimmy was a devoted family man, cherished by countless friends and admired for his generous spirit and willingness to help others. A proud employee of the City of Chicago and a successful entrepreneur, he built several businesses through hard work and determination. A proud member of ONIAC, Jimmy enjoyed golf, hunting, shooting, and relaxing poolside with family and friends—always laughing and enjoying life to the fullest. His kindness, loyalty, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday; November 12th from 3:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 W. 31st St. (Chicago). Funeral will be held on Thursday; November 13th  8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. procession to Our Lady of the Woods Parish 10731 W. 131st St. (Orland Park) Mass 10 A.M. Interment St. Mary Cemetery (Evergreen Park).
