Joseph Vercillo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Gino Vercillo, who left us peacefully just 3 days shy of his 61st birthday. Joe was a proud Chicagoan whose love for  planes led him to a career driving trucks at the airport. He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life like boating on Fox Lake, taking unforgettable vacations with family and friends, and enjoying his dogs LuLu and LJ who were like his and Gail's children.  Joey had a hilarious sense of humor and he'd make you laugh so hard you'd cry. The situations he put you in were even more hilarious.. Joe leaves behind his loving mother Roseann Vercillo Smaldino and her husband Mario, his Uncle John and Aunt Tracy Vercillo, and his dearest friend and companion Gail Cortese. Joe is also survived by his family, his forever friend Marge( Gallelli )Terrault, and many lifelong childhood friends! He now joins in eternal peace his beloved father Frank Vercillo, Grandparents  Annie and Joe Vercillo, and Red and Rita Martin.
