Juanita Perez, age 85, Beloved wife of the late Humberto S. Perez Sr.; devoted daughter of the late Juan and Ofresina Ortega; dear sister of the late Beatrice (the late Ysidro) Gonzalez, the late PFC Antonio “Celedonio/ Onions” (the late Manuela “Minnie”) Ortega, the late Elenora Ortega, the late Mary “Taya” (the late Julian) Guerra, the late Leonard (Annabelle) Ortega, the late Euphemia “Vigie” (the late Joseph) Fabian, the late Ramona (the late Faustino) Medina, the late Maria “Mia” Ortega, the late Candelaria “Cande” Maldonado and the late Joan (the late Miguel) Aguilar; loving mother of the late Maria Julia, Esther, Juanita, Carlos (her flower), Teresa and Humberto Jr.; cherished grandmother of Gustavo, Angelica, Consuelo, Salem, Felicia, Kimberly, Ashley, Nicole, Julian, Carina and Sarah; proud great-grandmother of Reina and Micaela, (affectionately known as Grandma #2 to them), Micah, Janessa, Liliana, Zarina, Zaragoza, Carlos, Genesis, Christopher, Avery, Violet and Zayn; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews including her special caregivers Chiva, Monica and Nina. Visitation will be held at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st St. (Chicago) on Tuesday, February 10th from 3:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 11th 8:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M. followed by procession to St. Jerome Church 2823 S. Princeton Ave. (Chicago) for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
