Manuel Chavez Meraz, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  He was surrounded by his 10 children.  Beloved husband of the late Maria Arrellanez; loving father of the late Maria (Salvador) Chavez-Padilla; Margarita Chavez; Celia (Leandro) Rodriguez; Josefina (Gabriel) Munoz; Raquel (Max Sr.) Luna; Inez (Juan Salazar) Feliciano; Jose Manuel (Chemmy) Chavez; Nidia (Mario) Tinoco; Dolores (Javier) Perez; Rosa (Orlando) Argueta; Maribel (Arturo) Chavez-Torres; fond grandfather of 22 grandchildren and great grandfather of 21 great grandchildren .Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18th from 3:00 P.M.- 8:00P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st St., Chicago.
