Monica Flores

We are sad to announce the passing of Monica Flores on Monday. March 4, 2024, at the age of 58. She was surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Monica was a generous person showing kindness to everyone she met. Her smile and laughter lit up the room. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Monica is proceeded in death by her parents Joseph and Lupe Flores and brother Manuel. She was a devoted wife to Norman. Loving mother of Sydnie (Dionta), Michael (Coraima) and Symone. Proud grandmother of Dionta Jr. (TJ). Caring sibling to five sister and eight brothers. Survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she loved. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11th from 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st Street., Chicago. Chapel prayers on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. with procession to Our Lady of the Holy Family at Notre Dame De Chicago Church, 1334 W. Flournoy St. Chicago. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
