Patricia Lauras Obituary

Patricia A. Lauras, age 71, passed away suddenly March 28, 2024.  Beloved wife of Paul A.; loving mother of Paul A. (Melissa) and Jeffrie (Liz) Lauras and Melissa (Marcos) Saucedo; cherished grandmother of Mia, Ashley, Nico, Benny and the late Gabriela; dearest sister of Carmen (Rosa), Anthony "Boston" (Dee Dee) and the late Johnny Passi; caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A dedicated and skilled cook, Patricia’s dishes were a labor of love for her family, who she cherished above all else. From cherished family meals to extravagant feasts, her culinary creations brought joy and togetherness to those closest to her.

Patricia’s love for travel and adventure took her on journeys far and wide, feeding her spirit with new experiences and cultures. She possessed a deep appreciation for music, with Rod Stewart, also known as her “second husband”, holding a special place in her heart and having seen him perform live more than twenty times. Her infectious laughter and sharp wit charmed all who knew her, and her candid honesty earned her a reputation for speaking her mind with unapologetic clarity. Her love for gambling added an element of thrill to her life, always looking for that next big win.

But above all else, Patricia’s devotion to her family was unwavering. Her grandchildren were her world, bringing light and laughter into her life every day. She cherished the moments spent with her loved ones and treated everyone she met as an extension of her family, spreading warmth and kindness wherever she went.

As we reflect on the legacy of Patricia, we invite all who knew and loved her to gather in remembrance and celebration of her remarkable life. She may have left this world, but her spirit and memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her presence.
