R. Janise Blauw

R. Janise Blauw, age 88, of Arlington Heights, IL, passed away on January 19, 2026.

Janise was born October 3, 1937. She lived a very full life with Her friends and family. She enjoyed taking cruises with her husband and family.  Getting together with friends and spending hours talking and trading stories. She expressed love for everyone and never ended a call or a visit without telling you "Love you. Bless you and drive carefully!"

Janise is survived by her children, Mary Gallucci, Karen (Timmy) Marcum, Harold Blauw, Jr (Kris) and Judee Humphrey (Joe), Her grandchildren Michael, Lauren, Matthew, Corinne, Frankie, Jimmy, Paulie and Joey and great-grandchildren Marcelino, Antonio, Emaylase, Jovanni, Gianni, Luchiano, Alexianna, Carmello, Matteo and Theodore. She is also survived by many friends and friends that considered her Grandma, Nani, Aunty and another Mom in their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Harold Blauw, Sr.

Janise lived by the song, "My Way". With everything in life and even in her death "I did it my way!"

In lieu of flowers donations in R. Janise's name can be made to St. Jude. Visitation will be held on Friday; January 23rd from 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M at Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory, (SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim Roads) 4001 Roosevelt Rd. (Westchester/Hillside). Chapel Service Saturday; January 24th at 10:00 A.M. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
