Rosanda (Condich) Swift

Rosanda Swift (nee Condich) age 90 was born in Bridgeport Chicago, lived 37 years in Glenview, Illinois, moved to Brookfield Wisconsin in 2007, was born to Eternal Life on September 23, 2023. Rosanda was born to Tona and Marko Condic and the baby of eight children. She attended St. Jerome grade school, St. Augustine High School and Loyola University for 3 years in accounting.  She worked at the First Federal Savings and Loan of Evanston, Koenig and Strey Real Estate firm, and a cable and wire company in Northbrook Illinois. She was also the official bookkeeper of Swift TV. Rosanda is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Kenneth G Swift. Her parents Tona and Marko Condic, her siblings John, Dorothy (Sr. Bernadine ASC), Joe., Mark, and Eveyln. She is survived by her children Christopher (Mary) Swift of New Caanan Connecticut and Nancy Kornfeld (James) of Lisbon Wisconsin.   She is also survived by her dear brothers Simon and Peter. She was the proud grandmother to John, Kyle, Kirsten, Kelley, Lauren, CJ, Michael and MaryCate. Proud great grandmother of Declan, Benjamin, Hannah, Kennedy, and Leila. She is also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews. Rosanda enjoyed singing and was a member of her church choir at St Jerome’s and St. Isaac Jogues parishes for many many years. She also enjoyed traveling with her children and grand children to Arizona and Florida. She also traveled many times to Croatia and Rome. Visitation will be held Saturday September 30, 2023 10:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. at Michael Coletta and Sons, Chicago, Illinois. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Interment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers memorials in Rosanda’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Wisconsin Chapter. The family would like to make a special thank you to the staff of Grace Commons memory care and the staff of Agrace Hospice for their amazing care and comfort.
