Rudy Barrera

Rudy Barrera, age 59, passed away suddenly January 30, 2021.  Beloved husband of Maria, nee Reyes; loving father of Nicholas and Nadia; devoted son of the late Carlos and Guadalupe Barrera; cherished brother of Carlos, Fernando (Lucy) and Patricia (Chris) Brekke; dearest uncle and friend of many.

Visitation Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 W. 31st St., Chicago.  Interment private.  

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Visitation will be limited to fifty (50) people at any given time.  In accordance with local, state and national mandates, those entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visit a brief one in order to allow all who would like to attend a chance to do so. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
