Shirley Snyder Obituary

Shirley M. Snyder, 71, of Skokie, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Robert B. and Laverne Coyle, November 10, 1949 in Chicago. Shirley is survived by two children: William L. Snyder III (Melissa) of Harrisburg, and Dawn Archer (Keith) of Park Ridge. Shirley has three grandchildren that she loved and adored: Kaleigh, Daniel, and Jack. She is also survived by her brothers: Robert B. Coyle Jr. and Edward Coyle.

Shirley enjoyed bowling, cooking, and baking and had a secret knack for growing the best home-grown tomatoes and was a legend for making the best deviled eggs! Shirley loved to crochet and made endless blankets for loved ones. On any given weekend, you would find her watching golf or football.

Shirley worked tirelessly to provide for her children and prior to her retirement, she worked for eighteen years at Best Foods.

A memorial service and celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled in 2021 when gathering and travel are safe.
