Stuart James Miles

Beloved husband of Chantel Louise (nee Cattouse); loving father of Matthew Edison and Marcus Miles; beloved son of James and Susan Miles (nee Lopez); dear brother of Melanie (Patrick) Chico; fond uncle of Landon, Nevaeh, Leo, and Maddison; godfather of William Patterson; grandson of Jeannie and the late George Lopez; nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Member of PI KAPPA PHI. Visitation will be held on Monday; February 13th from 3:00 P.M.-9:00P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st Street., Chicago. Chapel prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday; February 14th  at 9:25A.M. procession to St. Jerome Church 2823 S. Stu most enjoyed spending time with his family and many close friends. He was a devoted and loving husband to Chantel and his sons Matthew and Marcus - he said they were all the best things to ever happen to him. 

He was a proud Southsider, UNC Tar Heel, and graduate of John Marshall Law School. He loved the White Sox and was rarely seen without one of his signature hats. He devoted most of his career to his work in the City of Chicago Law Department as Assistant Corporation Counsel. Stu had a passion for gaming, arguing, trolling, and making everyone laugh. 

He was truly one of a kind and his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him forever. Stu’s family is devastated at his sudden passing and would like you to join us in celebrating his life.
