Theresa C Scopacasa

A beautiful lady who was so devoted to her family, her church, her neighborhood, and her friends.  She was loved by so many and we will all miss her dearly. Theresa died unexpectedly, yet peacefully, in her sleep on Monday, January 3, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Antonetta Scopacasa. Preceded in death by her sisters Catherine, Jane (Peter) Pivac, nephew (Jack Pivac) and brother Vincent "Dykes" Scopacasa. Theresa is survived by her sister-in-law Sara Scopacasa, niece Toni (Mike) Thryselius, nephews Frank (Colleen) and James (Deborah) Scopacasa.  Loving great-aunt of Malena and Niklas Thryselius, Marco, Mia, Leo, Sofia and Samuel Scopacasa. Dear friend to many.  Dedicated member of Old Neighborhood Italian American Club Women's Alliance, Marian Society, Club Maria SS. Incoronata, Silhouettes and many other church/senior clubs. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jerome Croatian Church in Theresa's name.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12th from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at St. Jerome Croatian Church 2823 S. Princeton, Chicago, followed by Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Interment Private. For more info 312-225-8500.
