Thomas Raclaw Obituary

Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Schmelter); loving father of Jeanette (Barry) Hoffman, Andrew (Maribeth) Raclaw; Mary Raclaw; and James Raclaw; beloved son of the late Stanley and the late Florence (nee Guzowski; fond grandfather of Lauren (John), Erin, Nicholas, and Abigail; dear brother of David B. (Audrey), Gregory (Janice), the late Claude (Robin), Robert (RuthAnn), and the late Frederick (Connie); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Thomas proudly served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964.  He graduated from Quigley Preparatory Seminary and Loyola University of Chicago. Member of Alpha Delta Gamma Fraternity, member of American Legion and a Friend of Bill W.Tom retired after 25 years of service with Wallace Computer Services, formerly known as Wallace Business Forms, where he served as a Human Resources Manager. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to National Alliance of Mental Illness, 3803 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203. Visitation will be held on Friday; October 21st from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 West 31st Street, Chicago. Chapel Prayers 9:20 A.M. on Saturday October 22nd at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home followed by procession to St. James Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial   10: 00 A.M.
