Victor Balvino Ovalle Sr., 65, longtime resident of the Bridgeport neighborhood in Chicago, passed away February 18, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary, nee Ramos; loving father of Victor Jr., Mark (Eugina Hoyle, fiancé), Alfred, Vinny (Bethany Berlaqua, fiancé) and Anjelica; cherished grandfather of Joshua, Victor III, Makayla, Genevieve, Victoria and little Vinny; dearest brother of Herlinda Ovalle, Estela (Gundemaro) Calderon, Julio (Blanca) Ovalle, Nery Ovalle, Luz Ovalle (Alfonso Amezquita), Fredy (Maria) Ovalle and Patricia Ovalle; fond uncle, great uncle and friend of many.
Visitation Sunday, February 21st, 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 22nd, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 W. 31st St., Chicago where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Interment private.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Visitation will be limited to (50) people at any given time. All visitors must register in advance (see below) in order to attend the Visitation. In accordance with local, state and national mandates, those entering the funeral home are required to wear a face covering. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visit a brief one in order to allow all who would like to attend a chance to do so. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverages into the funeral home. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these very challenging and difficult times. If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
