Losing a loved one is never easy and going through it for the first time can be challenging. Michael Coletta and his team provided us with exceptional support, patiently answering all of our questions and guiding us through the process. We would like to thank Michael Coletta and his team for their help during this very difficult time.
It is a very stressful situation when a family member passes away. With many decisions to make, the easiest was to make arrangements at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home. Several family members had their services at this location and they are so reliable, sincere and professional. This establishment makes sure everything is perfect down to every last detail. Even asking if we wanted to change the temperature of the room, dim the lighting or change the volume of the music. We could not ask for anything better. We will always remember how beautiful everything turned out. The Mangione family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home.
We are grateful for the professional, yet caring and compassionate way Michael Coletta and his team treated us and handled the wake and funeral of our father. It was our first time going through this and we appreciate how they took the time to explain and walk us through every step. We had many questions, and to a person, each took the time to answer all our calls. We know we weren't the only family they were servicing, yet they made us feel like we were, by giving us their undivided attention. Thank you Michael Coletta and team for all you do to help families during their darkest days.
The Coletta family has been burying and servicing members of my family since 1937 continuing through 2019. Michael Coletta's Grandparents buried my grandparents. His Father and uncle buried my parents and in fact, my mother was the last person waked and buried out of the Coletta funeral home at the 79th & Kedzie location. Michael Coletta Jr. has also buried more of my aunt's, uncle's, & cousins. In my family, the first order of business when someone dies is a phone call from a relative asking "Did you call Coletta's yet?" The answer is always yes. So for 82 years now the Colettas have been an important part of our family and friends. They do their job with dignity, compassion, and class. They are as respectful and compassionate as anyone in their business. One day the Colettas will bury me as well and that thought gives me a great sense of comfort. It is with great pleasure that I submit these unsolicited comments.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
